Finplan was established in the year 2011 with a vision to bring about a revolutionary change in the education system. In a country brimming with brilliant minds, it was rather concerning that there existed a huge gap between talent and opportunities. Our educational system rewarded the students with degrees, but it failed at imparting the necessary skills and technical knowledge required for performing in the real world.
Moreover, with a standard curriculum, students lacked the opportunity to identify their strengths and interests. Students graduated in masses and were forced to take up jobs which did not interest them, resulting in bleak performances and no growth.
So in 2011, we embarked on a journey to tackle the problem at the grassroots level. We wanted to build an institution which focused not only on technical education, but also on skill development, building confidence, releasing limiting beliefs, and overall growth of the students. We wanted to create an institute where students could choose to work on skills they are passionate about, and not forced learning’s. Our goal was to help the students realize their true potential, not on the basis of their degrees, but on the basis of their talent.
